It is surrounded by Forest reserve and is well known for it's cinchona plantation. The river you are seeing is the famous Teesta river which ends in the bay of Bengal. The very Darjeeling which is well known for cultivation of tea is it's neighbouring state. Animal husbandry is just a passion for the locals. The locals of Mungerjung depends upon the protection of the cinchona trees. Animal husbandry is the branch of agriculture concerned with animals that are raised for meat, fibre, milk, eggs, or other products. It includes day-to-day care, selective breeding and the raising of livestock. The plantation is diverse, here are very few of them. The scenic beauty is undefinable. The hill beauty can be challenged by other states like Sikkim. Afforestation is the effort to plant
